Indications:

Amphotericin B intravenous is specifically intended for the treatment of cryplococcosis (torulosis); North American blastomycosis and the dissem9inated forms moniliasis coccidioidomycosis and histoplasmosis.
Amphotericin B may be helpful in the treatment of American mucocutaneous leishmaniasis, but is not the drug of choice in primary therapy.
Amphotericin B is helpful in the treatment of kala-azar (leishmaniasis)when the conventional treatment of leishmaniasis does not give satisfactory response.
